you can use a progress bar or that shows the system is busy, and also
capture all your mouse clicks so that user can not click on anything else.
change your cursor to hour glass and if you want you can have a cancel
button, which can have mouse capture and stops the process. you can do all
this using java.

When the user clicks on the submit button to then process the request to
Credit Card Company it can sometimes take 30 seconds or more and I want
something to show the user it is processing so they don't just click
