Hi John, I would also check the Permissions for Witango to access the file - is the Excel file on the same machine? Or somewhere else on the Network?
I've been able to open a ODBC connection to an Excel file from Witango in the past - for building import routines. Reading Excel from Witango is doable, but don't try an Insert, Update or Delete back to the Excel file - it can get very ugly :-P Hope this helps. Cheers....
