Hi all, OK, so as part of a "user logout" routine I can put <@PURGE SCOPE="user"> on the logout page to clear all user scope variables. Easy.
However, in a particular scenario I need a remote web server (not a Tango one) to force a log out of a user - I have a web site spanning multiple servers, each doing a different bit (don't ask) and the user can potentially log out from anywhere. If they log out from another server, how can I get the Tango server to purge that user's scope to force them off? (one idea I had was to set a 'logout' cookie on the other servers and to check for that (on each page hit) on the Tango server, forcing a purge if the cookie is detected. However, something which avoids cookies would be nice). Anyone any ideas?
