So for the demo it may not work on anything but IE 5 or greater. It uses innerHTML Iframes , window.showmodaldailog, window.showhelp, and the sorting may not work. I have only tested on IE6
Someone told me they wanted to add it they site and is one reason I didn't post a working copy. I know it will be up on his site soon, but till then Here is a working copy. (may wrap) http://turret.armygaming.org:3000/javascript/sorting/javascrtipsortingJH /tablesortingJH.taf There is am HTML layout helper in the taf (which you can save as HTML for reviewing). As of today is current on the link above and will be on the other site. Sorry for those that don't or can't use that database "who don't have MS Access." One of the important thing about this demo is the way that the database is setup, If you interested I can export the tables to text files so you can make a filemaker (which I don't have) database for it and I can see to it where ever the demo is that there is 2 databases for it. Email me off list about this issue and we can get it done. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Nicholas Froome Sent: Tuesday, July 23, 2002 3:43 AM To: Multiple recipients of list witango-talk Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: Javascript table sorting, dynamic Drop downs >For the benefit of those of us who don't have MS Access. As a Mac (only) user I can't use Access <TONGUE IN CHEEK> Maybe we should all code for Filemaker as it's cross-platform? </TONGUE IN CHEEK> ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body
