I don't know if this helps, but I do this kind of thing all the time with
Bbedit 6.5. You can do a multiple file search, and it will show you where
items were found in a single document that points to all of your files. You
just go down the list and make your changes.

I don't know if there is a windows way of doing this, but BBEdit works
great.
