Hi All,

I am working with Jason off list and have created a server side JavaScript solution. But since this involves money, he is under control of the code.

I will be refining this, below is the current output.

Hex
#A9F695 =
RED 169
GREEN 246
BLUE 149

You can contact me off list about this solution

Jason,

I found some JS to do what I think you're asking for.

I've never toyed with server-side JS, so can't offer any advise there...

Thanks everyone -

Gauthier is pretty close to explaining our predicament. The odd bit about

this is that the numeric value of a color to Flash when converted from Hex

is the decimal value equivalent of 'F3A89B' converted as a whole hex string,

not the individual pairs for RGB. (so it's something like 16777215 = FFFFFF.

I think) but I think we're on the right track, and will let you know how it

works out.

I think that it will be a combination of maybe some creative tag

combinations and possibly a server-side script.
