Hello to you all! Haven't written much as we relaunched our corporate site on Monday complete with Witango logo on the front page (got to do our part). Well, the site has been so successful, we are overrun with users. We're using the standard app server Tango 2K on Win2K running on a Compaq server, 1 ghz with 1gig of ram, but the app server just about stops responding after showing 50 concurrent users in Perfmon.
My question: is anyone running the pro version on multiple processors? If so, does this help? How do you do it. I mean install into the same directory. How does it know it's a second version. Do we need to setup and configure load balancing and if so, where can we find docs on it? If you want to look, the site is http://www.scmeonline.com . The site features flash navigation that is xml based and xml calls to a company in Dallas to retrieve rates (thanks to Scott Cadillac for that one).
