How about using Is Null?
Also, I learned that you can type in a value for the operator field even it
it doesn't exists in the drop down list of values. An example of this is the
operator "Contains" Even though I couldn't select it from the list, I could
type it in. I think that might be considered a bug? Maybe it will be fixed
in 5.0?

Subject: RE: Witango-Talk: Criteria Question
I am having problems with opeartors.
I have an elseif action listing thru a search a date and username. I
don't' want the search action to bring any of the above back, if one of
the fields has data in it already. (a field called "response") I want it
only to return if that certain field is empty. Right now it brings back
empty response field and blank reseponse fields so long as the date and
user match.
The only operator I can find in the pulldown from the criteria window in
the search function is "not equal". I thought I used to see a "if empty"
choice there in that pulldown, but, to my dismay it's not there. (it's
in the elseif action pane)
>From the operators I have available tome, what would someone suggest? I
hope this makes sense.
Thanks
Steve
