I experimented with many synching systems and used retrospect for a while. I finally setup a OS X server box with a mirrored server drive that serves my web servers. So my webservers are serving from a share which eliminates the synching problem. Synching had become a pain in the ass when I needed updates to be avail. right away. I noticed no performance drop especially when using cache on tango.
