Hi Atrix,
The new v5 Editor is adding additional Action properties in the form
additional XML elements and attributes. This is by design to make room for
future capabilities in the new Witango system - this is done automatically
when saving older v4 TAFs with the new editor. I discovered exactly what
you did early on during Beta testing.
As for whether or not v5 files will execute on a v4 Server? Phil has warned
us that "they may not".
If you're using Windows, I would recommend downloading a more recent
version of v5 than the one you're using. Hope this helps. Cheers....

another detail i forgot to mention is that im using the witango editor
5.0b2 and that a file i sent out earlier this morning before i was havign
problems was ~220k and that same file has jumped to ~280k. I grabbed that
orig file of 220k and saved it through the editor and it went up to 280k.
I scanned my computer for viruses using mcafee online virus scan...no
viruses found. I looked through the .taf file in question to see if there
was any binary data such as a virus but no...it all looked like plaintext
xml.
