We have an HTTP redirect running on a popup menu on the site. It's been there for 2+ years, and I've never seen it fail. Since switching broadband providers, to NTL cable in the UK, it fails every time
Similarly, our HTTP image upload fails with corrupted images - even though I can FTP or TB2 the images to the server successfully. I can also TB2 to the server, launch a browser, and HTTP upload images to the server successfully! NTL say they have tested the redirect with other ISPs and that it fails also - but this directly contradicts my testing experience from the last 2+ years It seems that NTL use caching for all images via Inktomi proxy servers and I suspect this is the root of the problem I'd be obliged if anyone in the UK could go to the Homepage, select a destination from the "Navigate" menu (located top right) and report the result I need to know * Success or failure? * Error message (if failure)? * Your ISP? * Dialup / Broadband? * Platform? * OS? * Browser? The site is at http://www.bolide.co.uk Many thanks ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: send a plain text/US ASCII email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe witango-talk in the message body
