The Solaris version has not been discontinued, it will go into public beta
shortly after the Linux version. Oracle 8.1.7.x and Oracle 9 clients will
be supported with the Witango 5 server. The Solaris server will also have a
JDBC interface.
Before anyone ask:
The Linux version will go into public beta during November.
The JDBC interface will be added to the version 5 servers on the other
platforms as well as the Dev Studios. For licensed users of the Witango 5
Servers and Dev Studios this will come as a free service pack.
