I have done two different one’s with help from the list

  1. grab there login’s and send them to a database aswell as other going info like timestamp andanything else you might find hande

and you can display them on the page based within the time you system is set to time out

or

  1. send that same info to a domain scope, and @del the rows that are out of the time range

on either one you can update there info top track what page where on the site they are and what they might be doing

Subject: Witango-Talk: Who's online?

Hello everyone!

For a simple communtiy I've developed for a client (Ferrari Scandinavia), it would be nice to add a "who's online" function, that will show the users currently browsing the forum.

This task proves quite hard, the solutions ive come up with require quite a lot of server power, and a constantly updating frame in the browser. Has anyone here developed a who's online function? Grateful for all help!

/Peter, Stockholm (first snow today)
