Hi Tom,
First sorry for the looooooooooooooooooong delay, I just saw your post when trying the same thing. I've running the same problem and solved it by editing handlers.ini in the configuration directory of the editor At first look it was due to the W3hbn100.dll wich was incorrect, I've replaced it with W3hbn500_jre14x.dll (wich come with v5 studio) and I was able to add JavaBeans in the editor. I'm also have problems instanciating javabeans from a taf and would appreciate any help from someone already using javabeans, here is the error message I get on the createobject action. For testing purpose my .jar is in the same path than my .taf, my tcfsearchpath is setup correctly (but I'm not sure that this have importance with javabeans) Thanks alot for any help Gauthier Error An error occurred while processing your request: File: javabeantest.taf Position: Create_Hire Class: Internal Main Error Number: -808 Cannot create native object. hireobject File: javabeantest.taf Position: Create_Hire Class: Internal Main Error Number: -622 The specified object instance could not be created. hireobject File: javabeantest.taf Position: Create_Hire Class: Internal Main Error Number: -622 The specified object instance could not be created. When I select Objects, Add, Javabeans. The Editor just falls into a 'Not Responding' loop. There are no existing Javabean classes installed. The Beanhandler.jar is in my CLASSPATH. According to the documentation, I should see a dialog allowing me to select a JAR file. The dialog never shows up. Any help appreciated. Tom |
