I'm wondering about the dataSourceLife system
setting. We're having some trouble with open connections not being closed
on our IIS server and though that reducing this value might help. My
question is: if I set this to, say, 1 minute and a query takes 2 minutes to
respond will the connection close after 1 minute or stay open until the query
responds? I just don't understand enough about how this
works.
We're running Tango 2000 on Windows 2000 SP3 using
MS-SQL 2000 SP3.
