Make sure you use the <@userreferenceargument> on each page.  If you pass as a
link, something like mypage.taf?<@userreferenceargument>, if you do a post,  you
can use a hidden field to pass the argument.  WOrks like a charm.  There is a
good discussion in the help pages under the basic section, chapter 8, Variable,
section  called "Using User Keys".
