Witango-Talk: Witango and ODBC install on an Xserve

What / where are the recommended installation instructions for ODBC 
install on an Xserve.  The PDF on the new Witango site (it's looking 
good! but the javascript dropdowns seems a little haphasard with 
Safari) dates from 11 August 2002 - is this still valid?

I'm thinking of using MySQL to hold data that will be somehow 
exported from Filemaker.  Anyone have a better suggestion?
