OK, I may be brain dead this morning but I need the help of some of the
experts here on the list. I'm writing something for an internal payroll
system and I want to have the ability to bring up "sticky notes" for a
payroll record if entries exist in a database. For example, when an
administrator makes a change to an employees timecard an entry is made in
the database and tagged to that timecard with an explanation as to why the
change was made. When anyone ever brings up that timecard I want to display
sticky notes for every change that was made for that card. There will never
be more than one or two.
OK, so the system now records the changes. I know who the changes were
made for, the timecard they apply to etc. They are now being recorded in the
database. Everything is perfect! Well, except how to open up a small popup
window for each entry in the sticky database.
I have created popups before when someone has clicked on a link. The
javascript is pretty simply to do that. My question is, how can I get a
separate window for every entry in a darabase? Am I just being brain dead
this morning or is this one of those situations where it's conceptually easy
but programatically hard?
Thanks for any help!
