Is it ok if the taf is a small example taf to continue to attach to the
email?

Here is my reasoning, several of us on the list do up quick examples to help
those in need to add the added task of zipping and sending to the component
zone and then creating the link. This makes it hard to justify the time for
the quick help.

Subject: Witango-Talk: Attachments to Emails on the list

Many users on the list use email accounts dedicated to receiving list posts
that have quotas. When these users receive a large attachment in a post
their account fills up and they stop receiving further posts. There are
also users that do not wish to receive the attachments as they do not use
the functionality of the tafs attached to the email.

We believe that it is valuable to be able to attach a taf or tcf to a post
to illustrate how to do something and we do not wish to impose a message
size limit on the mail list but can we suggest that attachments be loaded
into the component zone on www.witango.com and referenced in the email as a
URL. This way the component is there for those that want it now and is
still available to those that want it in the future.

A few guidelines if you do wish to attach a file to an email posted to the
list.  Make sure that:
1    the files are compressed;
2    the the total size of the attachments are less than 40K;
3    there is no third party software included in your post. Use a URL;
4 where possible send a url instead of the files.
