Asterisk “*” wildcard
I ran into this just now. Where I had to test to see if an * was selected I found out that if you use it in an equal = then it becomes a wildcard
--Start Results-- Var = Hi Test EXPR=Var = '*' Test EXPR=Var beginswith '*' --End Results--
In the Documentation it states it will be deprecated in future release Under <@CALC> help “The beginswith operator should be used instead of a trailing asterisk as a wildcard in comparisons.The use of asterisks as wildcards is deprecated and will be removed in a future release.”
I tested it under T2K and Witango 5 servers and it is still not deprecated.
I guess this is still slated for a future release J
