Ok, I changed the data source types from ODBC to JDBC so I can test my app on linux, and right away I've run into a problem.  Here is the debugging output.  It basically shows two identical queries, one with a search action, and another with a direct dbms action, and the direct dbms action fails.  reporting a syntax problem.  I am using JSQLConnect as the JDBC driver to connect to MSSQL 7.  In the past I used this particular JDBC driver with JTransit without any problems, even on this same application, so i suspect that there must be a problem with Witango.
