I'm changing the way one of my taf's sends email notifications from a Tango5
email action to a file write action into the email programs send queue
folder. The email program is Mercury/32 (see www.pmail.com for great FREE
email server). The email program accepts a file (XXX.101) and then splits it
into header and body for delivery. I was able to grab a XXX.101 file to use
as a template for my File Write action. Everything works great, EXCEPT the
Sent date is off by 5 months (says January instead of June). All other
emails processed by the email server show the correct date. The header dates
all show the correct date when delivered.
I'm not sure where the email server gets the Sent date- would this be common
thing with all mail servers? Anyone else seen this type of problem?
I've also asked in the Mercury/32 mail list, but you guys seem to know
everything on this list!
Thanks
Mark Bushaw
