Witango-Talk: URGENT: server application error

Hi here's a diagnostic conundrum for everyone.

I've just started getting the following error on my development 
Witango 5 server and it has halted all taf execution:

"Server Application Error
The server has encountered an error while loading an application 
during the processing of your request.  Please refer to the event log 
for more detail information.  Please contact the server administrator 
for assistance."

We have tried:
- checking the error messages:
The Win 2k service error messages is saying that there is an internal 
500 error in relation to the Wi5 service, this is usually a general 
error with IIS to but IIS is serving the html pages fine, but not 
accessing Wi5 Any ideas would be most helpful.

- ensuring that the mime types are still setup correctly for the 
domain/folder so that .taf is pointing to the WIIS.DLL file
- checked that the WIIS.DLL was still in place

- checked multiple tafs to enure that it is a server-wide problem and 
checked that the tafs are there - when they aren't we are getting the 
usual "can't find taf" error.

- installing the new version over the top of the old, but are getting 
the same error.

What we are doing to resolve this:
- removing the INI file that I have doctored for our specifications
- un-installing Witango 5 and replacing it with the latest version 
off www.witango.com
- crossing my fingers...

However, any input would be most appreciated as this is a time 
sensitive issue - I need to use this server over the weekend.
