I need the help of some of you Access guru's out there. I'm running in a
Windows environment and I need to use Witango to read an existing Access
file, massage the data and write the records to a SQL server database.
Massaging the data and writing to SQL is not a problem, but getting the
information from Access is. When I try to read the Access file I get the
following message:

Search
[Error] [57] -1032 [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft
Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened
exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. S1000

[Error] [58] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr
failed IM006
[Error] [58] -4 Unable to connect to the specified data source. Verify that
data source is properly configured and that database server is online.

Now the server is online and the funny thing is I can use the SQL Window of
Witango to read this file. When I use a search action though I get the above
error. Do I have to have a login ID and Password? If so, how do I assign one
to this Access table? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Gene Wolf
