Hi Dan, At the top of each taf file that is a "logged in only" file, we test a user scope variable that is set upon logging in. If its empty we redirect to the login page, otherwise we process their request.
This makes it so if a user is not logged in they cant do things that only logged in users should be able to do. This is also good if a user bookmarks the page at a logged in only taf cause when they use the bookmark it will take them to the login page (: ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Stein" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, August 23, 2003 5:04 AM Subject: Witango-Talk: Logout and history > Is there a way once some has logged out and you purge their user and request > scope variables to clear the browser history on there end or somehow make it > so if they then hit the back button and try and do thing they are unable. > > > -- > Dan Stein > Digital Software Solutions > 799 Evergreen Circle > Telford PA 18969 > Land: 215-799-0192 > Mobile: 610-256-2843 > Fax 413-410-9682 > FMP, WiTango, EDI,SQL 2000 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > www.dss-db.com > > > ________________________________________________________________________ > TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Go to http://www.witango.com/maillist.taf > ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Go to http://www.witango.com/maillist.taf
