Title: Re: Witango-Talk: File upload COMponent / ASP
Thanks Garth,

looking at the asp files in the download package, it seems that I have to call the asp upload page from a tango file using http

(<FORM ACTION="" METHOD=POST>

The most elegant (and secure) way would to be able to instantiate the object and make a method call to it from within a .taf (or .tcf). I need to make sure certain security issues, and assign a dynamic upload path that is not visible in the upload form HTML. Is there some way to do this with this asp file, or is there a COM object I can use out there?
Regards
Peter

Check out the goodies on Ben's PCForge site:

I think there's an ASP upload component there that has been integrated with Witango.

Good morning everyone,

has anyone here used a third party ASP / COM object for file upload instead of tangos built-in one? What im looking for is a component that hooks into tangos COM integration, not forcing me to actually call asp pages.

Any ideas, anyone?
Peter
