Wished this worked but none of my tafs had (yen) in them.

Now I have the issue that I ran into on the old
box of T2K tafs crashing the witangod process.
Brings it down quite reliably.
chuck. Do this:
Use BBEdit
Open your T2K filemaker tafs in BBEdit
Look through and anywhere in a datasource
definition, you'll see the character (yen).
That's what's making your server crash.
Change these to # (pound)
Save as Latin1 format
Your tafs will run otherwise unchanged on
Witango 5. I've got about 50 of them and that's
all that was required.
The problem is that to deal with FMP, witango
uses apple events. When this character is passed
from witango to appleevents, all hell breaks
loose, and it unravels the witango server.
