Dont' know if this helps, but we are using CVS, using the WinCVS/MacCVS gui.
It does require us to run a separate program separate from Tango, but its a
small price to pay to have something that is open-source and HIGHLY
customizable (and scriptable). WinCVS has excellent features, and is
extensible using the Python scripting language.

I will be building a Tango based release-management tool that I would be
happy to share with the Tango community once it is complete. Using XML,
Perl, CVS and Tango, I will be able to store and retrieve meta information
about each taf or tcf file in CVS, including dependencies, release date,
applicable cvs tag(s), and pretty much anything else. Because I will be
using all open-source tools, it should run smoothly on any platform that
Tango runs on now.

Subject: Witango-Talk: WiTango editor source control for Windows

Hey All!

Just wondering if anybody knows of a Source Control setup that integrates
with the WiTango editor in Windows. I've got FreeVCS up and running on my
computer, but having used Visual Source Safe with the WiTango editor, I'm
finding this interface kinda kludgey.

I've already done a search on the WiTango archive, and there was a couple
posts in June on the topic, but there didn't seem to be a definitive answer,
at least to my questions.

Any ideas? That are free? (I'm a poor University student ; > )

Thanks!
