The Witango 5.5 Dev Studio installer was built with the latest InstallShield DevStudio and are seeing a few bugs appearing on different Windows versions. One bug is the one that you have experienced where the Library directory is either not installed or is empty. Another issue is in how the installer creates some of the registry items. A ddeexec item is created with escaped [ ] chars.
We posted a new installer on Tuesday (AEST) that has work arounds for these issue. If the syntax checking or compiling is not working (and you have a SUN 1.4.1.x JVM installed) download the new installer, uninstall the original and reinstall with the new installer. You can work out which in staller you used by the size of the zip file. The new installer zip file is 15.8MB in size. There have been no reported issues with the OS X installer.
