Hi Jan/Ben, We have tracked down this issue with the development studio consuming too much CPU even when idle. Although it is using a high percentage of the CPU it will still yield to other applications.
In any case it has now been addressed and there will be a release available to download from the site within the next 24 hours. If you need any further assistance please contact me.
