Hey Brian!

I seem to remember that it was possible to have multiple certificates, one for each domain, being served off one box through IIS. Haven't used IIS for awhile, so I can't remember how to do it exactly. I believe its in the advanced setting for each web site.

Shouldn't have to use a new port, since you use port 80 for all your http requests, regardless of domain, SSL should be the same thing.

In a similarly, somewhat offtopic thought, doing some learning about RSA (encryption standard SSL is based on I believe), and the security of the encryption is completely based on the difficulty in factoring large numbers (ie. 2^512 or 2^1024). Interesting hey?

Good luck!

I know this is way off topic but I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple SSL certs installed on one Physical server.

I have one SSL Cert registered to a domain on my Windows 2003 Server (IIS6) that is using port 443. Can I create another domain (host headers) and install another SSL cert for that domain. Do I have to use a different port for that new domain? I know someone has done this. Is there any limit on SSL certs I can install on one box?

Thanks,
