This "ItemBufferSize" limitation is specifically about how much data can be retrieved from a single column (cell) from a datasource lookup. If this is how you are supplying the string value for your variable, then this is the setting. But...if you are supplying the string value from some other process, then the variable store size is not limited by, or associated with, this setting. So, if there is a limit, then it is controlled by something else. Hope this helps. Cheers.....
