2) in the search window where it says "search for items whose:" click the plus (+) sign and add the criteria for "Visibility" and set it to "Visible and Invisible"
3) this will display all your files visible (odbc.ini) and invisible (.odbc.ini)
I'm using unixODBC, so I'm not sure if it will be the same for you, but the odbc.ini file Witango uses in Panther is located in my user home directory as an invisible file ".odbc.ini". In the terminal you can view/edit this by typing:
> sudo pico .odbc.ini
If not this, you can check the other odbc.ini files to see what it's reading.
