Thanks for the idea. But I may not have conveyed my problem clearly
enough. I *am* able to have apache run a .taf file (in this case a
simple "Hello World" sort of thing) initially.
But if I wait about 5 minutes and then try to reload the same page the
browser just sits there spinning it's wheels, waiting for some html
from the web server. Eventually the witango client (i.e. the apache2
module) times out with the text I included in my original message.
The behavior seems to fit the definition of a bug (witangod works for a
while, then stops working). So perhaps I should file a bug report.
