This could be several things.

1. You don't have a mail server anymore (this is unlikely because you
sent this email :-)
2. Someone changed your firewall settings and you can't access you mail
server from a DNS name like mail.domain.com.
3. the mail server has moved to a different sub-net
4. your FROM address is not a valid sender
5. DNS server routes changed

Is the mail server on the same computer?
-Try using the ip address of the mail server instead of the DNS name
-make sure your from address is a valid account
