Anyways, the problem with ASCII codes is the <@CHAR> tag displays different
charactes above number 127 depending on the operating system of the WiTango
server.

The best bet is to use the HTML accent codes in the link I gave you, then
display the column in your results as:

<@COLUMN 'Table.column' ENCODING='MULTILINEHTML'>

So, it'll spit back the code as HTML and display in the browser properly.
This is how I do it for French sites.
