An Announcement Regarding Internet Explorer and Active Content
Microsoft has announced that it does not currently plan to release the
modified version of Microsoft Internet Explorer. This modified version would
have affected the way site visitors experience active content in web pages.
Active content includes Macromedia Flash, Shockwave, and Authorware Player
content.
As a result of this Microsoft decision, we will be discontinuing this e-mail
notification list. We have also removed the resources that were available at
the Active Content Developer Center on macromedia.com. Should it be
necessary in the future, we will reactivate the e-mail list and post
appropriate resources on the website.
