Since we're on the subject of new sites going live... We just launched an interesting one a couple of days ago.

It's more of an application than it is a site.

The "Template" Creation tool for the Wilson Jones website.

Goto http://www.wilsonjones.com/
In the Templates menu choose index templates, binder templates or notebook templates.
Then pick a product from the "online templates"

Just make sure you have the flash 7 plugin.

It's a tool that allows you to design and create printable inserts to go into the sleves of Wilson Jones products (binders, notebooks, etc.) Best way to expreience it is to pretend you purchased one of their binders and want to customize it for a report or presentation.

The app has 3 major parts.

1 Flash UI for editing the template. drag and drop WYSIWIG interface for modifying your template
< XML Communication between 1 and 2>
2. Witango App server layer - builds only xml responses to messages sent up by the flash ui. no html results here.
Also, when asked by the flash piece to do so, it invokes the 3rd part of the application

3. PDF Generator (written in Java) - this part takes the data sent up by the flash piece and creates a PDF file on the server. The flash piece is then informed of the file to download and it does so with a popup window.
