so, you get a line in the witangoevents.log like...
START INFO Oracle Call Interface (OCI): Enabled
or
START INFO Initialized Oracle Call Interface (OCI)
environment
then i assume the oci stuff is ok...why it crashes on connection, i don't
think i can help...i don't use linux for the witango server, so i haven't
had that experience. i've noticed that the osx version is particular
about the username/password/database string...if i enter an incorrect
password, i sometimes get a crash. sorry...
