Has any one worked with SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services?  It might be
better to put all the report processing on the SQL Server and have the
client download the finished file.

Not really sure, it depends on how much work your server has to do for each
profile.

Maybe you could give it a shot after hours and see how it does.
