MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY THE FULL PATH IN THE WRITE COMMAND; 
PRIVILEGES COULD ALSO BE THE ISSUE.  I USE THE WRITE FILE COMMAND 
FINE WITH WIN 2K ADV SRVR.
