I have been noticing a similar problem (Witango 5.5 editor, OS X 10.3.3) - that is, crashes on opening a datasource. The incidence can be reduced (but not eliminated) by making sure you have a TAF open when you open a datasource.

However, I reproducibly get a crash (no matter how many TAFs I have open) if I have opened a JDBC datasource and THEN try to open an Oracle datasource.

So it's not just a Filemaker thing.

Can anyone provide some insight into what might be causing the following
problem?

Quite Often, while trying to define a new FileMaker datasource in Witango,
I can add the datasource just fine, but when I click on the datasource and
provide it my login information (password) to remember, instead of loading
the layouts for that datasource, the WiTango application just unexpectedly
quits.

It does this only when defining certain databases as new datasources in
WiTango, and sonmetimes it works okay after several attemmpts, other times
it will just repeatedly "unexpectly quit" WiTango.

I tried defining these data sources from different client machines running
WiTango, but same results there.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any help you can provide.
