I ran into the same problem. You can correct the code with a text editor
and then it will stay corrected. After setting up the search the way I
like, I save the file and the use a text editor to manually insert the
criteria separator where I want it.

<CriteriaItem>
        <Conjunction>and </Conjunction>
</CriteriaItem>

I then open it up in WiTango and then correct any of the operators that
might have been changed. After that I don't have any more problems until I
need to insert another separator, then I repeat the process. Hope this
helps.

Subject: Witango-Talk: custom criteria separator in Search action corrupting
file

Hey All!

I've been writing a search action that uses a criteria separator in the
criteria tab and it hasn't been behaving properly. When I set the criteria
up the way I want, then save the file, and close the search action
everything looks fine. As soon as I open up the search action again, the
criteria separator is gone and some of the other information is messed up as
well. If I check the SQL its supposed to be generating using the SQL Query
option, the structure of the query is wrong as well and as soon as I run it,
my database is complaining about the syntax.

I'm using Windows 2000, WiTango 5.0.1.037 IDE, MySQL 4, Apache 2.0. Never
had a problem with this in WiTango 2000, any ideas?

Thanks,
Jonah Simpson
