I've done lots of work in building PDFs in Witango. Mostly invoices,
receipts, monthly statements and reports. Business cards shouldn't be
too much different.

Please contact me if you would like some assistance.

Subject: Witango-Talk: PDF Time Again

Witango 2000
Windows 2000 server

I have tried this in the past and am still having no luck. Am willing
to pay for something that is already developed or for someone to help
using Witango 2000. Here is the deal.

I have a company that has around 20 business cards in PDF format.
They would like to be able to have a web form post the appropriate
info into the fields of the pdf along with the quantity/order number
(at the bottom of the pdf). This pdf will be used at a printer to
make the appropriate business card. All cards already exist as blanks
or can be created with text for place holders.

Has anyone attempted doing this? I found a software vendor that has
done this using ASP but would prefer using Witango as it is more
familiar to me. There cost is 399.00 US with no guarantee it will
work the way I need it to work. They will then charge per hour to
develop something I need, but since I am no ASP guru, I can see
problems cropping up in the future that would tie me indefinitely to
this company.

What I need exactly is the ability for the user to choose the card,
input the data for the card, create a new pdf, view the pdf with the
new data online, and if correct, email the pdf to the printer (using
some way of identifying the pdf by name, order number preferably).

I appreciate any input from anyone who has worked with pdfs in the past.

Thanks
