Also please note that Pervasive.SQL 2000 and the subsequent Pervasive.SQL 2000i are phased out and not supported by Pervasive at this time. The supported version is Pervasive.SQL Version 8. We are now looking forward to Pervasive.SQL 9.

Look in the same directory as the witango.exe file. You should see a file that has hcm in its name. This is short for "handler COM". This is what you want to point the ServerPath at.

We have already tried the 065 and couldn't get it to work succesfully. We are using Pervasive.SQL 2000. Upgrading the db is totally out of my control and probably not going to happen any time soon. We had to back down to the 058 because it was the only thing that would work.

David, You probably should upgrade to 5.0.1.065 to get all the 5.0 features and fixes (listed in the ReadMe of the 5.0.1.065 build).
The 058 build is about 6 months older than the 065 build. If you are
using R:Base or Pervasive SQL make sure that you are using the latest
versions of the dbms and ODBC drivers before upgrading to the 065 build
as the Witango 5.0.1.065 build uses an ODBC 3.x interface and some
versions of these dbms do not cope with the ODBC 3 specification.
