Chuck,
I'll chim in on the firewall part... I absolutely love the "Netscreen 5XP" firewall that we use. It's a little blue appliance that is much cheaper and easier to install than a "computer with two NICs type solution" perfect for CoLo, because it's a tiny device...
Juniper networks recently acquired netscreen, http://www.juniper.net/products/integrated/
the device also supports IPSEC VPN Connections too.

Since I normally work with intranets and have clients that manage their own hardware, this is fairly new territory for me and any guidance would be appreciated.
I need to provide the setup for a high volume public site, probably start with 2 Witango boxes, a DB server and a firewall of some sort. I’m looking to have the hosting done by one of the facilities that provide 24X7 support, unlimited bandwidth and plenty of power and air!
Anybody using CoLo or managed server hosting services?
Anybody supplying them?
Recommendations?
Suggestions on configuration / firewalls / hardware issues?
Load balancing?
The good, bad and ugly, thank you!
