In a sense, yes, but you have a different level of control of purging
the include cache vs. reloading a variable. Under 5.0 I would edge
toward the variable method, but the new cache controls in 5.5 would edge
me to using the cache method. Robert

The include file is local - I've set the caching for includes on and see
if that helps.  Would having caching on be the same as your domain
variable idea?
