i have heard that some installers install files in the System/Lib.-folder.
First check if this folder have the correct rights!

Repairing rights just only repair Apple - Files (like the CD-Util)

It was the currently logged in user (me). I checked privileges and I had read and write privilege for all files I checked (files in App folder, prefs).

You may also need to repair privileges using the disk utility.

I'll give that a go tonight. Need to start in Target mode and connect to another machine. Thanks
