not sure if it's the same thing just with a different path or not but have you tried just going into the folder options and associationg .js with the witango editor?

Any one know why on one machine JS files open within the Witango studio, but on other machines they don't?
 
I would like them to. ;-)
 
BTW, when I edit the registry to make the Witango studio the "edit" handler, a new instance of the studio opens, so that's not the answer.
 
I'm still looking at some of the other differences between machines.... there's got to be a clue in there somewhere!
