Thanks, Robert. Good ol' Tango2000 did permit me to simply create the directory structure to the t4client.ini and I was hoping to do the same with my 5.5 install.
While, as you suggest, disabling the WAS that's installed on the machine I simply want the clients.ini to exist on works, I like to install as little as possible. Not that the WAS install takes more than 4 clicks and 2 minutes. Too bad the Apache2 .so doesn't try to look in the standard install "Program Files/WitangoServer/5.5/Configuration" directory or ./ (where the Apache2 .so module lives). Guess I'll simply disable (or remove) the server that gets installed. Thanks again.
